A New Chapter
This maternity series documents a particularly meaningful moment in our lives—the anticipation of welcoming our first child. What began as a photography project became a personal record of the season just before our family changed forever.
As two creatives, we wanted the photographs to feel intentional without losing the intimacy of the moment. The result is a visual reflection of where we are now: between who we have been and the family we are becoming.
Creative Direction & Collaboration
The visual direction was developed collaboratively, drawing from the warmth, textures, and natural character of autumn. We built the setting together, incorporating pumpkins, gourds, soft seasonal elements, and the first small objects selected for our child.
Every detail was considered as part of the story—from the composition and styling to the personal objects that represent the life we are preparing to welcome. Our individual creative perspectives came together to create something that feels both designed and genuine.
This series is ultimately a collaboration between two creatives, but also between two people experiencing one of the most significant chapters of their lives together.
