Scope of work: Rolling Booklet / Poster
At the beginning of this project my professor had us go through a list of thirty designers and pick out which ones that spoke to us, in personal way. My final decision landed on London native, Jonathan Barnbrook. This project allowed me to use my hand skills with the rolling booklet, and allowed me to create a companion piece with this poster. My next following year my professor suggested that we reach out to professional designers and ask to interview them and pick their brain. I reached out to ALOT of designers and three reached back out; one being Mr. Barnbrook himself. Him being in London and myself in Nashville, TN we had an eight hour time difference. Mr.Barnbrook was very kind and worked with my availability. He was very open and honest about his experience in design and the importance of being openminded to trying other things outside of design. He is as kind, as his work is powerful.
Materials: light blue card stock, Cannon matte paper, holographic vinyl.
